The Pinterest Marketing Data Source allows you to see platform-specific metrics (e.g. Ad Spend) in Converge. To send data from Converge to Pinterest, check out the Pinterest Ads Connection instead.

Set up the Marketing Data Source

Converge will pull in the Conversions, CPA and ROAS based on the Date of conversion event and with a 30/30/1 (Days after click/engagement/view) Conversion window.
  1. Navigate to the Marketing Sources Tab in your Converge dashboard.

  2. Click on Connect a new ad platform and name your ad platform sync: e.g Pinterest Ads | {Pinterest Ads Account ID}

  3. Select Pinterest from the drop-down list, and log in with your Pinterest Ads Account.

  4. Once the Pinterest account has been linked, you can select your Pinterest Ads Account.

  5. After pressing create your Pinterest Ads metrics will stream into Converge.


Set up your UTM Tracking Parameters

  1. Navigate to your Pinterest Business Manager.

  2. Navigate to the ad which you will set up tracking as follows: Ads > Reporting.

  3. In your Campaigns Reporting Table, click on the pencil Icon at the left-hand side of the ad name.

  4. Scroll down to the Ads - Set Up section and modify the Destination URL to include the right tracking parameters as follows:

  5. Repeat steps 2-4 for every ad you run (including new ads that you will run in the future).
